Decent looking cast don't have a strong interest in the show or dub but I may check out the first episode.

It's interesting but I imagine for Funi, dubs are just worked on as they become available + directors assigned to said shows are available to work on a new project. Aka the popularity of a show isn't the end all be all to predict when a dub starts production.

True. My guess would have been Darling first, but I've watched enough simuldubs to see that it is often a matter of when the pieces are there, and they won't wait on something that is ready to go.
