Was this the only one of Mandarake's shops to be cited? Mandarake definitely has some racy stuff in some of its shops, and I've been to Nakano Broadway before and feel like I remember seeing one of the doujinshi shops there? It was a long while back, so maybe I'm misremembering, but hasn't there been porn there for a loooong time?

There were nearly nude covers of pornos on full display at the front of the shop. You could literally see the section labeled rape from the door. And this was all in front of a shop for pre-teen girls. |

The more you read the sillier the whole situation gets "who the fudge opens a porn store at a shopping center?", "wow that's a narrow hallway", "12m²? There are shops that small?", "adult stores are banned in the proximity of HOSPITALS specifically? Why?", "are they really counting freaking dentists as hospitals?"

Sounds like they just got busted on a technicality. Opening an adult store around kids stores = ok. Opening an adult store around a facility you can call a hospital = illegal I wonder what it is about hospital that make adult stores not allowed compared to other establishments |

Spank!( the store that was affected by Mandrake adult store) is a store of colorful 80's Pop fashion that sells mostly to teens and children. Mandarake new store opened next to that store.The corridor between the two stores is only about 1m 95cm wide.
Mandrake have many stores (more than 20) on that complex so they could have chose a better place for their adult store. Like using one of their stores that are not near places where young teens and children usually go. There are a place for that stores but is not next to a store here teens and children would gather. Is not about been against the store but about the location. I don't know if you ever been in Japan but in many shops that sell adult products like magazines, hentai manga, gravure idols and AVs they have a separation inside the shops between the place the sell normal products and the R18 products. it was always been that way so is nothing new.
