At first I was surprised to see Kirby transition to 3D... but then I realized Nintendo has already made this game: Mario Odyssey was essentially a Kirby-style platformer, due to Cappy functioning basically the same way--transforming Mario into enemies with different traversal and combat abilities.
Also good God is it welcome and long overdue to see Nintendo moving away from 2D platformers... there are just so many and the 3D platforming genre is all-but dead. So color me insanely excited for this!

This does look really nice. Maybe a bit too heavy on real-ish settings, as fantasy ones feel more interesting, but I'm really looking forward to it.

They had tried this before, it was one of the many prototypes that finally became Kirby's Adventure Wii. The corridor design must be there as safety so there is an obstacle for the player to navigate past.

Finally, a 3D Kirby game. Though it seems like the level design is more like Super Mario 3D Land/World or the classic Crash Bandicoot games, 3D enviorments but still linear

Kirby meets Super Mario Odyssey? About time we had another 3D Kirby game.
I think the last one was Air Ride, who's mechanics that I'm hoping for to return.
