Yen Press does publish more Western children's comics than the average manga reader probably realizes. And they have other all-ages/youth-popular and/or book-associated titles that would be great choices too, including Barakamon, Cirque du Freak, Fruits Basket, Yotsuba&! and Zo Zo Zombie.

It's weird to see this. I remember when my school had a request of Manga that was never fulfilled. My library had a decent bit of manga however. Now its gotten to the point there is a outlet for the library near me that focus on YA, Manga, and LNs. Crazy how much things have changed.
