While I've heard mixed things about Star Ocean EX and NG Knight, I've only heard great things about Barefoot Gen so I'm excited to watch that at some point

The most important of these, by far, are the Barefoot Gen movies. They've been released on DVD a couple of times, and as recently as 2017 on Blu-Ray, but this is, I believe, the first time that they have been available streaming.
They're both movies everyone should watch. (The second one is better in both writing and technical senses, but the first is more impactful.) However, the first movie is anything but a casual view. Parts of it are horror-grade and emotionally difficult to watch, so be ready for when the bomb drops (literally). |

Man, I remember Star Ocean EX. Watched an episode or two of it when I was young and had never heard of the games so it didn't mean much to me. The OP and ED songs were amazing though. I listened to them heaps.

I remember solemnly lamenting how NG Knight Lamune & 40 might never be subtitled after playing Super Robot Wars OE a few years ago, and now it's freakin' everywhere. Good!
There's a Japanese BD set for the series that ended up coming out like right before Discotek's SD BDs - I assume the streaming ones are based on Discotek's version, but were the Japanese ones actual HD upgrades or just SD too (or questionable upscales)...? |

It's on Tubi and Amazon Prime Video as well. Even if it's older shows, I'm glad there are more free legal anime stream sites now, after several closed a few years back (Daisuki, Go90, Hulu free tier/Yahoo View/Viz streaming). |

Still love everything you do, RetroCrush. Since I own most of the rest already, I'm most looking forward to the Lamune stuff. I have the old Knights of Ramune DVD and just wasn't sure whether I wanted to purchase the whole rest of the franchise as a blind buy. This'll be great to try it out first.

I see it's 99 cents to rent both Barefoot Gen films on Amazon Video (so not included with Prime), but it's not on TubiTV, at least in the US. Just checked. |

My bad, was going through Tubi and Amazon Prime videos updating my watchlists yesterday and thought I saw it in both. It is free for me on Prime: https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B08NC48PCD/ |
