Netflix paying for the adaptation. I know perfectly well which parts will be censored.

But I'm still curious to watch.

It all depends on the staff working on the live-action series.

I really enjoyed the live-action Alice in Borderland series. One of the very few Netflix live-action adaptations that was good.

I'd much rather Netflix pay Japanese studios to make live-action versions for them than do it themselves. Not that I think this will be great or anything, but it's better than the alternative.

Honestly, it wouldn’t be impossible for this to work. This could be good campy fun with a reasonable amount of heart/character progression. Which.. in essence *is* YYH.

spoiler[And uh if the cast is lead by some pretty twunk, I won’t be mad]

Considering some of the live action adaptations japan has put out the last few years (which you’ve alluded to) not really.

Didn't you like the adaptations of Kingdom, Inuyashiki, Rurouni Kenshin, I am Hero or The Fable (my favorite)?

I would rather Netflix spend more of it's time on live action adaptations of manga than producing Anime.

Manga -> anime -> eventually live action
This Is the best way to go. Not that I dislike some live action adaptations of course, but for me a decent anime is always better than a decent live action series or movie.
