Intriguing that Reborn As A Vending Machine came out the same year as Swiss Army Man.

The light novels are supposedly pretty good, so I'm tentatively interested, especially if there's a print version later Anime catgrin + sweatdrop

Problem is the author stopped writing the series.

Hopefully this manga adaptation will rectify that situation.

The author didn't stop writing the series. The light novel version was axed by the publisher, never to finish what the web novel got up to. Pretty big difference, which is why I'm surprised it's getting a manga adaption at all, and that Yen Press is simulpubbing it to boot.

Easily one of my favorite Light Novels. Normally not interested in manga adaptions, but I'm actually kinda excited, mostly to see more of the characters visually.

This is confusing me (no, not the premise, I actually read the LN's and they're pretty great tbh)

So the LN series "ended" at Vol 3 as the author went on to write a spinoff LN series for another popular LN (can't remember which one, think it was KonoSuba?) so what will this new manga series cover then?

Will it just cover the 3 LN's?
Will the manga continue the story based on the WN?
Will it continue without basing it on material of the WN?
Is the original author finally picking it back up and continuing the LN series?

So many questions

Well, with three Light Novels, they probably have enough material for 9 manga volumes. Which will probably last them two to three years. Hopefully enough time for the author to restart the Light Novel series again.
