I'm surprised that MAL still doesn't have a proper app that has all the features you would find on the regular site.

Hopefully that's where some of this money will be allocated. They were horribly slow getting out an official app to begin with and the site isn't great on mobile.

I've had an account for almost 15 years, and there still isn't an option to display your list titles in English, instead of incomprehensible romanji even for titles like Ghost in the Shell that are known by their English names almost worldwide. I can't even tell what some of the titles are on my list without clicking on them. They paid lip service to it in this press release again, as they have multiple times in the past, but still nothing.

Was on MAL for 13 years, ditched it a month ago for AniList, never going back.
