Looking forward to it! I hope the English-language release won't be too far behind the Japanese one (but if they need to take their time with it to do the best possible job, I wouldn't mind).

I really hope this means that more of Otomo's work will be available in the U.S. because really other than Akira, nothing has really been available since the early '90s. If we can get some Domu or even some of his older work like Fireball, that would be so awesome!

Still going ahead as far as we know.

But first he's finishing up his new film, Orbital Frame.

Kodansha first announced this project at Anime Expo, so pretty sure it's coming out stateside as well. And it'll be everything, too, not just "more". Can't wait!
