This seems like the kind of anime that would air on NHK E.

Also, the characters are based on real flavors that Blue Seal Ice Cream sells. Some examples:

Character name (these romanizations aren't confirmed) (left); flavor (right)

- Vanillan (バニラン); Vanilla
- Mamango (ママンゴ); Mango
- Blune (ブルーン); Blue Wave
- Francisco Minton XV (フランシスコ ミントン１５世); San Francisco Mint Chocolate
