In Japan, the title of the German art almanac Der Blaue Reiter (1912) is usually translated as 「青騎士」(Aokishi). Kadokawa may have adopted it and used it as the title of the magazine.
It seems that Kadokawa also used the retro-style ad for the magazine that would suit the magazine's name, which has an old-fashioned stylistic feel. |
