What's curious is that this style (also seen in classic works from Barrie to Baum to Twain to Wells to CS Lewis), is that it's just as amenable to the same advantages in fantasy or science fiction storytelling of having a protagonist as unfamiliar with the world as the reader or viewer, which is why we get so many amnesiacs and remote farm boys along with our travelers from another world. I suppose it's to eliminate the desire to go home as a goal, which also removes a motivation that can make the protagonist be less than fully committed to her new world. [/i] |

And also a good time to update the pronouns on Watase's profile as the incorrect one is being used under hobbies. Has ANN thought about adding a preferred pronoun line to their profiles? |

Yuu Watase has always been one of my favorite artists and biggest inspirations. Their art is so pretty and the preview image for this review immediately caught my eye.

Per the previous thread and per Shojo Beat editors, Yuu Watase still has preferred pronouns of she/her in English.
animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3152549 https://officialshojobeat.tumblr.com/post/188142422969/i-heard-that-yuu-watase-came-out-as-x-gender-do I also think it would be a good idea to have preferred pronoun in English where known.
