I wish it would be good but I don't have much hope. What I would like to see them do is get the writers from IDW or the cartoons to write the script for the movies. At least they would have a good understanding of what works for Transformers.

If it is like the Bumblebee movie, I'd be hopeful. We'll just have to wait and see.

Same! Of course it would need to be the writers from the old IDW stuff and not any of the IDW2 ones. I'd actually be motivated to see a movie in theaters then.

One thing to be side about these Transformers movies is they are the most commercially-successful movies based off of a something that has some relation to anime.

I'd love to see a James Roberts, John Barber, Mairghread Scott, or Nick Roche get involved in a Paramount film project!

Why is everyone acting like this is a bad thing? Bumblebee proved you can have a good Transformers movie by simply taking Mr. Explosions And Sex Jokes out of the equation.

The thing I'd be concerned about is I can't see them doing a live action Beast Wars movie without having a human character involved to have a celebrity actor even if humans weren't in the original cartoon so I can expect some liberties with the plot if they do that.

Unless it's Beast Wars in name only, I'd expect it to be an animated film with every role voiced by a celebrity. Bay got Cullen back and eventually, Welker returned as Megatron, but I doubt we'll see the same courtesy given to Chalk and Kaye.

I think the Beast Wars adaption will likely be something present day or something like that with people running around since Beast Wars 1st season was 'where are they" "Survival and fighting" themes. I don't think that would gel with usual Hollywood mentality films they been making.
