From the trailer, it looks like there may be some Imaishi in here as well. Awesome so far.

Is it possible to both like and dislike an aesthetic?

Knew it had have some connection to Ninja Slayer just from the aesthetics
Quote: | The anime will premire in April on Fuji TV's "+Ultra" programming block. It will also run on BS Fuji and other channels, and stream exclusively on Netflix in Japan. |
Will Netflix simulcast at the same time as the TV airings in Japan or do they wait for the complete season like elsewhere?

Netflix does typically simulcast shows in Japan. It's just everywhere else that has to either wait months on end of rely on piracy

Only for Japan. Outside Japan, expect your typical "hostaged by Netflix" for x months BS.

Yes, it is possible to think that a visual aesthetic looks good but that it isn't suitable for that specific show. While the story does seem fairly serious I think the visual aesthetic works well for BNA since it looks like a Kill la Kill type show where it has serious moments but also has a lot of comedy and over the top action scenes.

This makes the second Yoh Yoshinari anime to go behind the iron walls of Netflix. Wonder if this will be Triggers only way to release shows.

Nah, this is going to Netflix for the same reason Beastars/Carole & Tuesday/Drifting Dragons did - it's airing on Fuji TV's +Ultra TV block, and netflix has a deal with the producers behind that block to get exclusive global rights to anything. Think of it similar to Amazaon's Noitamina deal a few years back.

Given that not many countries get anime translated (let alone dubbed) unless Netflix grabs it, it's not really THAT bad. Compare how many languages Kill la Kill got dubbed in against Little Witch Academia (Aniplex treats Latin America as an afterthought, almost never dubbing their anime there and making crappy subs in Spanish and Portuguese. Plus, Kill la Kill's episode 25 is BD only, even in countries that never got the series on BD and only on streaming, which is A LOT of them, which means only uncle Torrent can solve that issue...), so yeah, Netflix's way of handling anime sucks, but at least it's better than if Aniplex or Funimation have grabbed it.

Another furry anime. Kemono must be getting pretty popular in Japan.

I think trigger tends to go overboard with the color pallet, almost to Go Hands levels. There is too much color that doesn’t complement. Also, the art can’t seem to decide if it is going to throw back to 90’s GAINAX or go with something more modern. Ah Trigger, never change.

I really want this to be good. I want the writing to match the visuals in quality.
As for the Netflix distribution, I have an account so I cannot afford to care. If it turns out as good as I hope, I will buy a plastic disk.

It should be noted that LWA got a really terrible dub done in Chile, and that dub, along with the terrible work done by other Chilean dubs made for Netflix, was the cause that no more dubs made in Chile for Netflix are heard since 2018, and since then, all the Latin American Spanish dubs are made either in Mexico, Argentina, or Colombia. Since then, many people want Netflix to do another better new dub done in another country, just like Netflix did with the English dub of A.I.C.O. Incarnation.
