Is that really true nowadays? The final volume came out on April 25, 2008 (an eternity ago in itself), and debuted at #10 on the charts. A Bride's Story typically ranks much higher in the first week or two of a new volume. |

Mori is an amazing artist. Just the level of detail on display through his/her(?) manga never fails to make me go wide-eyed several times for each volume.
Although from the image, I thought said one-shot would be a side story about the two women from A Bride's Story that you see on said cover art. Well, until the article told me otherwise. ^^;; |

I suspect that it is, perhaps simply because Emma was animated and A Bride's Story is not (currently, anyway). |

Her. Mori is female, and she's drawn a self-portrait which makes that clear. And yes, her art really is impressive, as is the level of research she puts into historical details. |

Noted. I'm not sure if I've ever seen that portrait. Has it been included in any of her manga? I've tried to figure it out via the sorta-bio shorts at the end of said manga volumes, but I was never really entirely sure.
