I read the first volume of the light novel for this around a year ago. It was interesting, but I wasn't inspired to buy the second volume (at least not immediately). I may change my mind after seeing how the anime plays out, though I'm curious as to HOW this will translate into a visual medium, considering how the story was written. That said, I'm cautiously optimistic. This story gave me a few good laughs.

Is this the beginning of the Phase 2 of Isekai?

Maybe not "Phase 2" of isekai, but I've grown so burnt out by the genre that it's the only isekai title I'm currently buying in print. It's a breath of fresh air that I usually describe as a light novel for people who enjoy both The Slayers Next and K-On.

Oh, finally, it feels like it's been so long since an anime was announced. I've been reading the light novels and while they're nothing groundbreaking, they are pretty fun.

This is the best description I have read of this one, thanks.

I like the lesson on statistics it gives people.

It was a long time from the first announcement of the adaptation until today where the premiere date is confirmed. Well the positive is that at least it will be released this year in the fall season I hope this does not mean there were problems in delevopment.

many isekai animes they tried to "innovate", but that innovation is only to add a detail about the same story, but the rest is still the same in 95%, stories as Shieldhero, Re:zero and arifureta they tried, it is not important to be original, it is much more important take the same premise, but execute it well. I think this is much better than any of the isekai of recent years due to the focus and the correct choice of the protagonist.

Have read the first volume of the manga version. Honestly, I would have been more surprised if an anime adaptation hadn't been announced before the end of the year, as this one seems ripe for such treatment. Could be likably cute if done right.

I've been reading the Kindle versions of the LNs. Okay, she is very OP, possibly due to God's different idea of average than hers (or maybe God chose to misinterpret her wish). She tries to hide her abilities, but is REALLY bad at doing so. More than a cut above the typical isekai. The anime should be a fun trip.

Oh man, no idea this was getting animated! I just started volume 6 of the novels today while waiting for the dentist. It's definitely lighthearted and an easy read. I also like the side stories that check up on several side characters after our heroine starts her real adventure

@Key

I recommend you try the light novel. I read that first and found the manga version to be disappointing by comparison. The manga version left out a whole lot of interesting detail.

A ten year old who has the mentality of an eighteen year old...
...how... nice. :l

Ya know, with the stupidly long titles that these isekai novels have, you'd think that the author(s) would try and give the plot more thought... instead it's cheap loli bait with a faux justified mental age.

/sigh

18-year-old mental age...Adele?!

Uuumh, no. Nope, not happening.
There is nothing to justify....

This show is way more in line with K-on, so I don't know why anyone would even think of their age.

The light novel series is a fairly standard fantasy adventure but it is one of the more entertaining isekai series that I have read. The characters are charming and I do like the twist on how magic works in that world. Hopefully the anime adaptation will turn out well.

That assumption is both cynical and wrong. There are six volumes that have been released in English so there is no need for guessing.
