Do you really want to watch foreign live action in dub? |

Look at it this way. Since some viewers have trouble paying attention to subtitle text and footage at once (I know some family members of mine do for instance), including both dub and sub options within a DVD/Blu-ray disc containing a foreign film or episodes of a foreign T.V. series is always a good idea. Heck, if not for dubs, Japanese cinema/T.V. fandom within North America would not have existed. |

Glad to see that this is selling relatively well! Saw it twice at the cinema but may pick up the blu this weekend if I can find the cash

Point's probably moot. Star Blazers was a LONG time ago and with how much money this's been raking in Japan, I doubt the price of liscensing will be cheap enough to risk. |

Japanese do it all the time. The more pertinent question is, why would a non-(30+ aged Japanese) would want to watch this mediocre jingoistic movie? It's worse than Independence Day. |

Maybe because it's one of the greatest sci-fi franchises ever? Could be a reason. |

Franchise, great. Movie, not so good. It's like Transformers is to Bayformers. |
