The art for the manga and the light novel looks much better than this. I'm not sure who the character designer on the anime is but I really don't like what they did with this series.

Thank god I'm not the only one. It basically looks like a completely different series. The designs are so bad.

I can't tell which girl only has one leg just by these character designs. This does not seem encouraging as it is addressed as a key plot point, unless there is a fourth main character somewhere.
