I hope they have their own dub or use a Japanese subtitled version, because the English dub was.... yeesh.
One of the last 4Kids dubs.

It's a bit weird to me that the Yugioh anime seems like it's more popular in Canada than the US even though it first became really huge through Duel Monster's success on Kids WB. It's been over a year now and we still don't have the Vrains dub on US TV.

Really? I thought there was a Vrains dub?
Is it not in America? Because I heard some discuss some of the jokes made in the Vrains dub.

Yeah, no U.S. TV network wants to air a Yu-Gi-Oh! show ever again, not even the original DM (except for ULTRA Kidz and iSopresa!, which are U.S. Spanish channels and which air 5D's and ZEXAL, respectively); the dub has been through a lot of problems on U.S. TV, especially in recent years; Nicktoons delayed reruns of the original from Jan. to Mar. 2013, then reran S1 over and over again until they brought Digimon over and started airing S2, but took the show off Fridays afterwards and later off weeknights altogether; they gave up the rights to it in early 2014 after airing the first few eps. of S4 (same with CN in 2005 when they stopped airing it after rerunning the first few eps. of that season). Also, in Apr. 2013, they started airing reruns of ZEXAL also, as well as on the short-lived "Ultrablock" They also started airing it on weekdays from Aug.-Sep. 2014. Then they finally -- reluctantly -- started airing ARC-V in early 2016, but took their (not-so-) sweet time airing S1 for the next couple of years, skipped all of S2, and went on ahead to S3. Meanwhile, when the short-lived Vortexx started, they started the show from S4, but skipped most of the episodes and went right on ahead to the last episodes of that season, then started over from the first 2 seasons (and mistakenly aired the full episode 5, instead of one of the merged episodes that Kids' WB!, its successors, and CN would usually air). Meanwhile, they ran new episodes of ZEXAL at 8am and the previous week's episode at 11am (which was fortunately rectified weeks later). Nevertheless, Vortexx ended later on and the rest of the series was moved to Hulu; the official YGO website doesn't even have full episodes of any season of ARC-V; in fact, they don't really have much info on that show, not even on their official YT channel. So, yeah, it's safe to say that no further Yu-Gi-Oh! shows (including VRAINS) will ever reach the U.S. airwaves, no matter how much Konami wants that to happen first.

It's kind of a shame since while I haven't watched the Yugioh dub in years myself, I was curious about Vrains as I heard it's a surprisingly faithful dub and the voice actors sounded pretty good from what clips I heard. I wish they would at least stream the dub on Crunchyroll or Netflix.

OK but why though? Why Zexal? That's a really weird place to begin...

Zexal was one of the most popular series in Japan. But people are saying the American dub is very censored, so that amazes me.

Probably cheaper than the OG. Has a complete dub and is fully in HD. It's likely the most recent Yu-Gi-Oh! series available to them. Corus is running Vrains on Teletoon English and Arc-V on Teletoon French.

I don't think they'd put the dub on Crunchyroll; I'm even more unsure about Netflix, considering how it cancels its shows; so yeah, not much options there.

Despite the obvious edits, this and the following shows in the franchise are noticeably more faithful to the original Japanese versions than the first three shows. Also, ZEXAL is one of the better-looking spin-offs (at least IMO)

Why not? I mean they got the Dubs for the Original, GX, 5D's, and Zexal. But not Arc-V and Vrains sadly.

Netflix doesn't have GX and 5D's, but does have the first 2 seasons of ARC-V (for who knows how long, anyway), and Crunchyroll has subs for all 6 series

What a suprise. I'm not a fandom expert and from what I hear now and there was that this was one of the less popular series of the franchise. I for myself had a lot of fun with Zexal but maybe it has something to do with the frequent watch...

Yu-Gi-Oh! has a strong following here in Canada but it ultimately doesn't matter as Canadian success doesn't translate to North American success.
