Boy, romance is a stretch for this series description.
Be interesting to see how this turns out. I REALLY enjoy the manga but it is incredibly talky, more than any other I’ve read, and I’m curious how that will translate to a show. The first arc took like six volumes of mostly discussing stuff. That it was at all interesting is a testament to the series at least. |

It will be interesting to see how many episodes they dedicate to this. That first arc not only gave backstory for the characters, but also set up the relationships between them. And, there was a lot to unpack with that first monster. I'm unsure what I truly want from this series. And, by that I mean (assuming this is 12 episodes), whether or not I want it to cover more than the first arc. |

Yeah, I know what you mean. They could get a full 12 on that one case, but I really loved some of the short stories that came afterword like the one in the restaurant.
