Sonic Forces is a Secret Good Game, so it hurts it didn't land with so many people. I hope it works out next time.

Sonic Forces was a whole lot of fun for me, personally. Looking forward to the next one, and hope that the fanbase doesn't eat itself alive over it!

Forces had it's issues but I liked it (100% in trophies along with Mania), it wasn't as good as Sonic Generations but it wasn't "worse than Sonic 2006" like some people were claiming.
And yeah, this fanbase has quite a few psychos, remember when they bashed Sonic 4 over his eye color?

I didn't really like Shuffle when I had It for Dreamcast but regardless, I do find it odd that Sega has yet to release ports of their last-gen remasters for Sonic CD and Adventure 1 & 2. I wouldn't mind a multi-platform re-release of those along with their good games from last gen like Colors & Generations.

It is sad that when SEGA announces a new Sonic game these days most people react with indifference. To be honest I don't know what to expect, a new Mania style game would be nice, perhaps those rumors of an Adventure remake may come true, I honestly hope that it isn't a game based on the new movie.
I wish Sonic team would make the equivalent of Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey for Sonic, something that would revitalize the series.

There are rumors that SEGA might be doing some exclusives for the upcoming Google video game device that'll be unveiled at GDC this week.
Maybe this Sonic title is for that?
