Is this a horror film? That plushy Pikachu scares me..

Looks better than I thought... at least they stuck close to the original cartoony designs.
Still wish the whole thing was animated instead of a live-action hybrid. |

Yup, I'm speechless. Just how do we even process this trailer? Where do we even begin?
I'm so confused and honestly a bit terrified. Ryan Reynolds is always bashing the awful looking CGI of Green Lantern, but here he is in whatever this movie is supposed to be. |

Wow, this film is really suprising. The CGI looks nice, but damn do they look horrible in an realism manner. I feel like i am boycotting this film becuase they make this film look horrible.

Wow, this movie is now already trending on Twitter and is already overshadowing Toy Story 4! Despite that I have fallen out with this franchise, this teaser trailer has already gotten me intrigued and all of the classic Pokemon designs looks pretty faithful to the original designs although there is a bit of uncanny valley involved especially with Mr. Mime.
But regardless, I am already liking Ryan Reynolds being the voice of Detective Pikachu and I am sensing that this film is going to break out pretty big! |

I actually want to see this. The CGI is a little in the uncanny valley, but Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu has my interest.
