Honestly, I sometimes wish Sentai Filmworks had at leas 80% of the Funi or Crunchyroll budget so SF could do more simulcasts and dubcasts.

Two articles with broadcasting anouncement today and in the comments section people just complain about stuff unrelated to the news. Rolling Eyes
The comments section is becoming more and more a toxic and negative space...

Apparently both Funimation and Hulu will also be streaming Bunny Girl Senpai according to Aniplex's official website.

So is it another one of Funi's simuldubs?

Aniplex has streamed other shows of theirs (Erased) on FunimationNow before, but they did not dub it. In fact, even now, the Erased dub is exclusive to Hulu.

I ask because Funi claims that they still have shows to announce, and there aren't many left for them to pick up this season I don't think.

I know people are still expecting/hoping for a simuldub for Index season 3 even though it hasn't been announced yet.

Per Funimation's twitter, they'll also be getting both of the first two seasons of SAO (subbed and dubbed) as well as the Alicization subbed simulcast.

Looks like Aniplex is giving them streaming rights to some of their shows again. It's been a while.

That actually sounds great but I also hope it isn't a sign of a souring/expiring relationship with funimation/crunchyroll.

I thought it was interesting that Crunchyroll wouldn't confirm where the dub of Sword Hero was going. Sounds like it might be Crunchyroll/VRV exclusive, though that's just a guess based off what CRX attendees and the Japanese Sword Hero site said.

Still, I don't think it's a complete dissolution. But I do think they both might be a bit more competitive with each other if that makes sense.
