So what is Hou? This franchise has had so many different titles with only the last word changed or added that someone, who doesnt intently follow the franchise, would be left in the dark. The titles of Hou and Sui were mentioned but I barely know what they are and left to figure out what these are along with others titles of "Hinamizawa Teiryūjo..., Higurashi Outbreak: Kamikanshi-hen sequel". I am getting the impression that Hou is all the previous other scenarios that have ever been released, along with additional content, in one release but that may be wrong. I am asking this because I have been holding off for a decade or so to purchasing the most scenarios I can for When the Cry franchise but several other titles have been announced and I am unable to keep track of the what title is what. When I clicked the article I was hoping to get information of what this new game is and what it consisted of in detail of but i didn't get much out of it besides Hou is being released and the prices.

Sui used to be the most complete version, with 19 arcs. Hou contains the 19 arcs from Sui + 3 additional arcs (Hinamizawa Bus Stop, Outbreak and Kamikanshi). Basically, Hou contains every Higurashi arc. |
