I know it's always just the math being interesting when these things happen, but still: lmao at Gegege not having an episode and thus going up 7 spots in the cumulative.

But if you click on it, the graph line shows it dropping one place. oO

If there’s no episode, it shows the difference between the episode before the most recent episode and its current rank, and not the difference between the the most recent episode and its current rank. That has been fairly consistent if one wants to look back at previous times where a show had no episode. I believe they use the most recent episode as a place holder to calculate the rankings for the week, so maybe they can’t reference the same episode twice for whatever shows the change between weeks?

Harukana Receive is criminally underrated in the cumulative. The last 3 episodes have been great in my opinion.

Both shows probably have haters that rate them 1 stars. It screws the number we see.

I think I knew that and forgot, or I thought they fixed it and so deleted it from memory.

Good premise but execution that doesn't take advantages of it at all and is instead trying to be a generic shonen and just end up trapped by it's premise.

I don't know that I would read too much into that, given that cumulative has barely moved and that the ratings haven't moved much (9 and 10 were the only episodes below 4.2). Looking at the shows around it this week in the weeklies, Angolmois and Holmes of Kyoto are the only ones that scored below 4. With most of the shows in the low 4 range, any marginal decline is going to be greatly magnified.

There are shows that has done worse than them on the list, just see the neighbor in "Ghost of Tsushima". That said, this season has had a strong sense of irregularity when it comes to the ratings. Either you have a bunch of trolls systematically messing things up, or all the shows are roughly at the same level. Almost half the shows has managed to hit rock bottom and the top spots, in the same season. This is something that only happened to one show a season at most earlier, yet here it's a regular occurrence.
