Very good. I wonder if Mothra's fairies will also appear.

The fairies...well "Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" went without.
Am just hoping Godzlla and crew get more screen time, but it looks like they'll be background characters again.

You do? Look at that trailer again, and tell me whether the producers have even HEARD of Mothra's fairies.
(A point I often criticize Toho's "Destroy All Monsters" on, for sticking Mothra in a monster team-up movie without her keepers.)
And even if they had, I'm guessing Legendary Pictures' big, epic, dank, steel-gray Warner-franchise fueled pomposity would have them barred at the door before they could sing one bar of the Song.
Crossover franchises have to be Serious and Epic, you know--They don't have Toho's ability to let things get a bit fantastic once in a while. Still, at least THIS Godzilla doesn't discuss Abe-era politics.
And just off the subject, can anyone watch Mothra spread its wings to "Claire de Lune" and not think of Sally Rand doing her fan dance at the end of "The Right Stuff"?

You don’t know that. Nothing is usually as it seems in trailers.

Is that really a bad thing? Sure, Godzilla had little screen time in the 2014 movie - but that made its' appearance have a lot bigger impact.

The director promised more monsters this time around. Like how Kong Skull Island showed them immediately.

It doesn't look at all like the monsters will be "background characters". Having humans in the movie that have an actual story isn't a bad thing, you know.
Anyway, this is the best trailer to come out of Comic-Con by far.

Yes, but how much more screen time (in terms of minutes) is a thing to consider.
