Pop Team Epic deserves to win 2018 Anime Awards. Absolutely phenomenal. It's main appeal was to be a kuso anime, and yet the creativity exceeded mostly anything on the market.
Bravo.

Great article. The UchuPeople segments were my favorite part of Pop Team Epic.

One interesting note is that UchuPeople also worked on the Kon-chan skit (where Popuko and Pipimi sing about the titular fox) that didn't make it in the anime broadcast.
