I was confused by this, too, so I asked for some clarification. What they described is basically equivalent in English to taking a work of classic literature and dumbing it down into a version accessible to grade schoolers. Very helpful when trying to read something that's not in a language you're fully fluent in. |

I'm sure it's just a matter of time that he doesn't get a full translation.
They probably get a draft manuscript prior to editing corrections and he'll need to finalize a cover for it maybe in 1-2 months max. That's not enough time to fully translate a volume. They probably just pick passages about the character the cover is supposed to be of to translate fully and do a basic plot summary for the rest. |
