I would've been curious to know if Yūji Mutō was aware of or had seen any of the Funimation English dub of the series.

I wish the original Japanese Shin-chan was being simulcast somewhere, or Discotek would put out the movies. (Though they do have English subtitles on Netflix Japan, and if you've got the right hookup...)

A weekly simulcast of the Japanese version would be pretty cool. I wonder if Crunchyroll would be up for it.

Haaa, I'm guessing he's talking about what became "Happiness Bunny" in the FUNi dub. I have no idea what the original Japanese dialog was, but even visually that was a riot.

I would be surprised if Yuji Muto has hardly been told any "Yugi Muto" jokes.
