That name is amazing! That's really cool. Polygon has been really good at adapting Nihei's stuff. A partnership like this makes me really hopeful for the adaptation of his work. Beyond the already in the work KoS s3 and second BLAME! movie.

It was from tweets of people attending an event where the director Hiroyuki Seshita supposedly said they were in production. So it's nothing official, but I believe it. This partnership validates it even more. There. That's the tweet from the Crunchyroll rep. https://twitter.com/Bastienkun/status/875723189250347010?s=19 |

You know... I'm not even surprised at this partnership considering PP have adapted Nihei's works. I wonder what will come out of it.

Excellent news; they SHOULD be able to conclude the KoS story in another cour, and I really liked the Blame! film. I can understand if some people didn't like the film for deviating from the manga, but to be honest while i read and love the manga, any changes the film made benefited the story greatly. Is it that common for a mangaka to have this kind of partnership with a studio like this? Polygon's done great with Nihei's other stuff, so this should work out great. |
