A 'Bastard' game? Now I've seen everything. Who would have expected this?
I haven't even seen the anime.

Well there's been a Bastard game out for a long time. It wasn't half bad either. What I don't understand is how exactly this is going to work. Do you play as minions under the main characters or something?

Ya, I don't get how there going to make it an MMO either. But most likely it will be a real simple, 4-5 diffterent types of classes tops, very little diversity from all other asian made MMOs like just about all there others I've played or seen.
And that trailer was pretty boring. Nothing creative about it at all. All it was is a bad knock off of Lord of the Rings, mixed with some Bastard! characters thrown in and a few ripped off Final Fantasy magic attacks. Pretty sad that they couldn't come up with anything better ...

My biggest dissappointment with that trailer is that it does NOT look like the Bastard!! Manga or Anime.
This is too bad, cos Bastard!! had some really great designs and concepts. It was one of the first "high fantasy" style mangas out there, and the artist, Kazushi Hagiwara always kept on getting better and better and continues to do so to this day.
I think it makes sense to make an MMO out of it because it was one of the first major fantasy Manga in Japan. In its earliest volumes it drew alot from Dungeon's and Dragons. I used to play D&D alot as a kid and Bastard was pretty much the first thing i'd ever seen that took these fantasy concepts and made them look really really cool.
Since then, Bastard has continued to be very influential on alot of artists both Japanese and American. Hagiwara was one of the first to establish the Japanese flavour of fantasy armor (big, but elegant shoulder pads, over the top magic etc) and i'm certain that the artists for World of Warcraft are inspired by his work. He was also ripped off quite a few times by Joe Maduera in his comic Battle Chasers, which lifted many character designs from Bastard!!
I guess what I'm saying is, this MMO doesn't look very good, but I still love Bastard!! the Manga, and I think it's really worth a read for anyone that likes fantasy or just really really good art (the American volumes are finally catching up to the arc where Hagiwara's art becomes incredible).

i just don't get why we see D.S fight against Lars . i mean..they show it as if it was a BIG part of the plot .
I wonder if there will be Angels in the game . i sure would like to have Micheal
