Only same developer. The visual novel staff is the same as Himawari -The Sunflower- (same scenario writer, character designer, producer and director), which is an excellent VN itself (I hear Island is also excellent). Himawari -The Sunflower- is available on Steam if interested.

ISLAND is a really good VN with sci-fi elements and a good deal of actual science. You can figure out at least one of the twists in advance if you know some science.
Speaking of twists, ISLAND is so far the only VN that really engaged me with some of the twists by making me think I was smart for figuring the twists out, only for the game to basically say "oh, you thought we were going to do [it]that[/it]?" and then go in a completely different direction.
