Not an Easter Egg, just an observation. When I first put the Shin Godzilla blu-ray into my player it defaulted to Japanese w/ subtitles. I let it go since I've become used to that setup in many of my Anime disks, after about 10 minutes I stopped reading the subtitles. I didn't need them, what the actors were saying & doing made sense. I don't claim to understand more than a tiny bit of Japanese, however the actors / scriptwriters / director did a good enough job that I could understand and follow the story effortlessly.
We watched the movie dub together as a family on Halloween night and we all enjoyed it. Mark Gosdin |

The TV screen with the "red crab" is showing The Diary of Ochibi, by Anno's wife Moyoco Anno, isn't it?

Funnily enough I just got around to watching Himouto Umaru-chanS which has a gag where during a zombie outbreak while all the other channels have a special broadcast "TV Toto" is still showing anime.

The I Am a Hero movie as well. -"Phew! If TV Tokyo is still showing anime, things can't be that bad..." -"We interrupt this program for a special report" -"Oh no!" |
