This series was utter trash and I am thoroughly glad I watched the entire thing. My biggest guilty pleasure of 2017.

I would not call this a purge because Sentai already had the license for this show. I will call it a purge when HIDIVE gets Sword Oratoria, Princess Principal, Made in Abyss and Land of the Lustrous, and if Crunchyroll manages to acquire The Great Passage, Scum's Wish, Saekano 2, RE:Creators, Bahamut: Virgin Soul and Yuki Yuna S2 for streaming.

Sword Oratoria, Princess Principal, Made in Abyss, and Land of the Lustrous are all Sentai shows and already available to a few international territories on Hidive, so it’s only a matter of time before Hidive makes it available to US and Canada.

The others are unlikely, as they are shows negotiated on the Amazon side and are probably stuck.

Besides, even if Virgin Soul was MAD disappointing, I assume there are lot of people hoping that Funimation will still get to dub it some day.

Now we just need Sword Oratorio, Atom the Beginning, and Sagrada Reset and Sentai's entire Spring 2017 slate will be free from Amazon's clutches.

Funny enough, that'll probably be exactly the one we get next. Amazon seems to be wanting to hang on to the good shows for as long as they are able.

Meaning it'll probably be quite a while before we see Made in Abyss or Land of the Lustrous freed from their grasp.
