Oh snap could it be that Despera thing? Also intresting to see the core of the Durarara, Natsume and Baccano anime adaptations seem to have moved over from Shuka to Geno.
Edit: grammar mobile mistakes overload
Edit: this can't be Despera actually
I love the work this director did, I think he's severely underrated, so I hope this won't be a trainwreck or too weird.

This looks really intriguing. I know it's still too early but with today's announcements Geno has proved to be one of the most promising new studios to come out in this decade after MAPPA . Definitely will keep an eye on all their projects from now on

I feel like this studio is trying, along with a larger than usual number of other studios, to recapture a bit of that old-school anime aesthetic. Their other project with character designs by Yasuomi Umetsu, definitely gives that vibe. And this will likely be similar. Dark, gritty, action heavy. I'm cool with that, I suppose. I like a good variety of things.

They got me from the fact there's a new original anime that has been roughly 10 years in the making. Please let CR get this.
My take on who this series' creator is (not necessarily from a copyright standpoint): we have the people who come up with the initial idea and that pitch it to studio/TV network execs. From there, we have people who come up with the creative process (series composer, script writing, character designs, etc.). Arguably this group of people might be more of a creator than those who pitch the idea. However, from a work standpoint, I would argue the slave-laboring animators are more of the true creators.
