Finally, Toei gets its fanbase!
I would buy that pillow if my wallet wasn't sucker-punching me in the face...

Hopefully Orba won't get the idea of casting his roommate into a deep slumber...

Oh yeah, absolutely nothing sexier than a guy with four eyebrows. Now that really gets me going.

Nice that they make stuff to sell to female fans. I'm a little surprised that they don't have body pillows of the cures for males though...

OOOH So body pillows are A-OK now, but video games that aren't just minigame collections are off-limits?
But seriously, I wouldn't expect any of the Cures. They do want to preserve the family-friendly nature of their heroines (if not necessarily their villains, which run from their age to fully grown adults), and the oldest one is 17 (with most being 13-15).

I wouldn't be truly surprised if Toei ever makes one out of the girls seeing as they're already paired them with adults before in the show (which is already rephrensible and killed my will to keep up with it), but I'll hope they'll at the very least keep the family-friendly thing going for as long as Toei exists.

I'm both slightly shocked and not surprised at all. Always knew this guy was too bishie for his own good.

Heh, this is nice. Orba did seem awful popular. I wonder who else may get this treatment. And it does seem like the shows aimed at little/young girls do pretty well to recognize the adult, female audience they have. (Aikatsu!, PriPara and now PreCure.)

Which pairs? I can only think of Yes!. And even then, that only partially counts?

There's a big difference between selling a body pillow of an adult and one of a child. I'm sure that there are a lot of people who would never let their daughters go to an All-Stars screening ever again if the latter ever happened, and at the end of the day, 99% of this franchise's profits are composed of tie-in merchandise bought by parents.

I think you've forgotten little girls also watch Precure bruh. I'm sure lots of parents will be pissed off by seeing their kids' heroes sexualised in official merch.

That wasn't always the case, I have several Precure games that weren't minigame collections on the GBA and DS. I wonder what happened.

Oh, I'm well aware of the platformer/beat-em-ups that they made to tie in for the earlier seasons (not that they were terribly notable themselves; the developers seemed to think that Precure was way more saccharine than it actually is). But, ever since Fresh, the only video game for the series that wasn't a Nintendo handheld minigame collection was a Wii dance game with really stilted animation.
I know everybody wants a 2D fighter, and that would be cool... but I'm still holding onto the impossible dream of a Musou game.

You're not... wrong, but that only happened once a decade ago, and that was between one of the girls and one of the fairies, so it isn't exactly the same thing. Of course, he was also her homeroom teacher, which makes the situation worse, but on the other hand, sometimes it felt like the girls never even attended class because of how Yes 5 and especially GoGo was paced... Agh.
