I approve of Kemonozume making the list, of course none of the three anime I plan on watching next season made it on the poll results, and of course my answer for this week will now and forever be Sango.

Best Takahasi girl? The one that launched multiple subgenres of romantic comedy, naturally. It's Lum, always Lum, forever Lum. The horns, the bikini, the "Darling!"... the lightning strikes on Ataru when the guy deserved it and when did he not deserve it?... oh, and the lightning strikes on Ataru when he didn't deserve it. Theoretically anyway... I mean he couldn't be guilty of crimes against women 100% of the time, right?

I was hoping to see Haruhiko's first kiss from Myriad Colors Phantom World, given that it was with spoiler[his estranged mother, who was also possessed by an evil Enigma that stole his powers and beat up his harem,] but alas.

I was kind of excited when I first heard about Welcome to the Ballroom, but I started to cool down on it. I know almost nothing about the story, but it reminds me of Yuri on Ice, which had an amazing start but lost its steam (and animation budget) half way through it.
I want to see more Owarimonogatari and New Game, but Summer 2017 does not have many other shows I am attracted to. |
