As absolutely daft as the premise is, if handled right, it could be a good story. Probably more education on the trials and tribulations of early motherhood and the services available, in Japan at least, than the readers would get otherwise.

I understand this is Japan and all but there are lines and standards to everything. How do people come up with premises like this? Even if I focused real hard on writing a story I couldn't come up with something like this.

It isn't? What qualifies as it then? "TG" is the term used on DeviantArt and Fictionmania to refer to any instance of a character changing gender, so that's how I use it. Is this not transgender because the protagonist can switch back voluntarily at any time?

In J-fetish, "TG" refers more to the fantasy of Ranma Saotome than real-life Kylie Jenner, ie. any solo immediately physical gender-dysfunction NOT caused by direct body-swap with another partner after falling down a flight of stairs.
And this would.....definitely qualify as J-fetish. In rather specifically lingered-upon detail.

As a fanfiction author myself Traditionally I use "Gender Bender" when speaking about someone changing genders for more of a comedy or sexual story and not in a no social way I traditionally don't refer to those characters as "Transgender" because I feel like that's referring to something different, a more social and personal voluntary change, as opposed a guy just becoming a girl for the purposes of a story.
I know other authors and artists who us TG to refer to the same thing I call "Gender Bender" so either is probably fine, but I can't speak for all readers, writers and artists.
