Not sure this is terribly satisfying for either fans of Index or Virtual On. Still, will be nice if it's good all the same, but we'll see.

Well, this is an odd mix. There isn't much overlap in the fans of Index and of Virtual-ON, is there?
Also, while I don't know much about people into the game adaptations of Index, is the demand for Index 3 comparable to Sonic fans who want a game specifically titled Sonic Adventure 3? |

That's a good question. I've seen both fanbases and they're both really desperate. But I think there's more demand for Adventure 3 since it has been 16 years since SA2 ( even though technically speaking Sonic 06 is Adventure 3) and only 4 years since Railgun S. |

Heh, all right then. What's this talk about Hideo Kojima? Is he the director of the rumored game or something?
And Sonic Unleashed is even closer--the gameplay is different, but its Japanese title is "Sonic World Adventure." But what I mean is that there are a bunch of Sonic fans who want Sonic Adventure 3 and for it to be given that specific name. There are at least four games that can fit the mold (your mention of Shadow the Hedgehog and mine of Sonic Unleashed, but Sonic Heroes and Sonic 2006 can qualify too), but these fans are not satisfied until someone makes a game with that title. Even then, I doubt they'll be happy with it though. |
