I will pick these up when they get released. Pretty funny I just watched the blu-rays of the show last night and finished this morning.

a bit worrying that the most recent volume was almost 2 years ago. i'm guessing Seven Seas knows that they plan on continuing the series or else they wouldn't have picked it up... right? Confused

Nah, they don't pay attention to that stuff. They licensed the No Game No Life manga even though it went on hiatus after the first volume.

I think that was due to NGNLs popularity though it made sense to get even if it wasn't going to get more volumes for a while. They would have known if a new volume came out in a sensible time it would probably sell well. With Absolute Duo I think they would have put in some more research into whether it will be getting more volumes.

This was announced 20 days before Bryn "Julie" Apprill turns 21. What a coincidence!

I'd have preferred the light novels to be licensed instead, but I will still pick these up and hope for more in the future. Julie is just too adorable.

at least their getting the manga version of the series considering that their are no signs that there will be a sequel for the anime, which is expected since anime that are based off light novels rarely get sequels WITH few exceptions.
