Bamboo Blade and Dragonaut are NOT 15 years old. Both those shows came out in 2009.

I got slapped in the face with Gundam 00 turning 10 in 2017...

As a kid, I didn't watch Wing, and only in my teens got into Gundam Seed/Destiny, because that's what we had in Canada at the time. This was 2002-2008. After a few years, around the end of 2009, I got into 00 since that was the new episodic Gundam. After that, not counting the Unicorn OVAs/Movies, the real big episodic Gundam is IBO - which is still ongoing (AGE and Build Fighters are a childish flop and spin off, respectively). So the fact that we got only a single "proper" episodic Gundam in this decade.. damn.

As was Higurashi's.

But they both started airing in Japan in 2007.

Well there was also G-Reco but that doesn't really change your point. Gundam 00 is definitely the same for me. I originally was introduced to the franchise via G Gundam, but 00 was the first Gundam series I watched after I became an otaku, even before the original, which was about 5-6 years ago I think. Reading that it will be 10 years old, I could only react "Really? Damn..." along with Gurren Lagann and Baccano!.

So we're full clickbait now.

Does anyone have any better anime news sites?

I'm really tired of people using the term "clickbait" with zero understanding of what it means. Clickbait is a headline that gets you to read it but never answers its own question or is purposefully obtuse so you don't actually know what the content is.

This headline isn't clickbait. You know when you click on it that it's a list of anime that are a decade old in 2017. As an aside, I see this thrown around whenever an article is a "hot topic" or contains controversial subject matter, but still, it isn't clickbait.

Also you can turn "Interest" off out of your feed if it bothers you.

Death Note also turned 10 this year. So many good series back then, so many you had to watch. Nowadays, it seems like there is maybe one "must watch" series a year, if we are lucky.

same here, dang I didn't notice 00 was a decade old. I'm also of the same opinion that age and build fighters were atrocious, just hadn't realized it was so long since we last had a "good" gundam series.I've heard mixed reviews about Unicorn RE 0096 but my first impression was that it was boring uninteresting.

Screw 00, I'd rate SEED Destiny and AGE higher than 00 much higher.
