Part of me was hoping we'd here Hironobu Kageyama return to the franchise with a new Super opening. Oh well. Even though the current one is OK, I probably won't miss it much afer 70+ episodes.

This new arc makes me want to watch it again. DB and tournament arc just go so well together.

A new opening after 70+ episodes is pretty welcome, though Chouzetsu Dynamic will never leave my head. I do hope it'll be good though, the majority of ending songs have been so-so (I love Usubeni though).

Kageyama is usually associated with DBZ. He didn't do the original opening nor did he anything in GT (the closest thing being Final Bout, but that one was something like a DBZ/GT hybrid game). Having different musicians for each series is some sort of a tradition.

Well, this is a surprise. I've never heard Hikawa sing anything but enka. Either he's trying something different or Dragonball is; either way, I'm curious to see how it turns out.
