It kills me that people are comparing this to Cyber Sleuth. I blame whoever had the idea of changing the original name of Digimon Story: Cuber Sleuth to Digimon World: Cyber Sleuth... which is stupid since they are their own series inside the Digimon franchise...

Anyway, I'm excited for this one, so far the original Digimon World is my favourite Digimon game.

You'd have to be under a rock or don't know how to use a search engine to not know that the damn game released as...

I own the game. But I do recall that it was labelled as Digimon World in America/Canada.

After reading about the P5 delay yesterday, this makes me happy since the date for this (based on Amazon) was moved up to January.

I never saw Cyber Sleuth titled as Digimon World, but who knows, could have been a working title.

It wasn't. The only Story games released with the World title were the original 3 games (DS, Dawn and Dusk)

And to be fair, the original World games changed genres more than any other series I know of. The "reboot" to make them more in line with World 1 only started with ReDigitize.

It was Amazon Canada that labeled it as World and still do to this day even when the box art on the same page says Story. Bamco announced the game as Story 2 weeks later for the rest of the world.

Now re-apply my last comment to the situation, but this time with the word: blind.
