Jeez, I'm starting to think Inoue found the secret to eternal youth some time ago. You can also tell Honoka is definitely her daughter (similar eyes).

Kawaii.
I wonder if Inoue was the inspiration for Maria from Hayate the Combat Butler. I seem to remember Maria's firm insistence that she was a mere 17...

Maria really was 17, though (as far as she knew, since she was abandoned as a baby). Midori from My HiME is a direct reference, though.
Anyways, just looking at the photo I can't tell which is supposed to be the daughter.

Clearly Kikuko Inoue is a vampire and feasts upon the nerdiness of NEETs to stay eternally young.

She's free to feast on my nerdiness any time. I have enough to go around.

I should be weirded out by the fact that a fifty-some-year-old actress IS cosplaying as a schoolgirl except for
A) she's not THAT much older than me!
B) I'll be damned if she's not cute! I always thought she was the cutest of the Ranma 1/2 cast, her character part aside...
They criminally under-used her in that show. I REALLY began hate to Akane Tendo after a point in time...
Would have loved to have heard her as Morrigan Aensland in the Darkstalkers 2 anime series.
(She did play that character in a radio drama at the height of that videogame's popularity in Japan... Darkstalkers was never as popular in the West which was always weird to me because the "classic monsters" archetypes are VERY popular here. Look at all the classic Universal horror monsters represented in Darkstalkers?!?!? I like Street Fighter 2, guys, but geez there are other games besides that one and Mortal Kombat!!!)
Oh well, we'll always have Belldandy and her other roles!

That's what I had in mind too!
"Are you her sister?"
"No, I'm her mother."
Maybe one can take it a step further and assume her father looks very much like her too?
