Yeah... at this point, 2016 is just an exodus of good people form an awful world, so I can't be optimistic about this or anything.

This is certainly depressing to read. I could only naively hope that his condition will ever improve at this point, but if that is not possible then at least I sincerely wish that his suffering is kept under control with the help of his doctors, relatives or friends.

I'm also among those who hopes that Mr. Matsumoto gets well. I don't know what he's got but it's probably very serious. I also think that praying for this guy wouldn't hurt. He needs all the help he can get.
