About damn time! This manga is really good and it took them 10 years to publish a volume? I can understand on Sanjo's end as he's written for some shows but jeez.

All I thought when I first read this was, "Wow... and I thought Togashi was bad with Hunter x Hunter." Ten years in between any new manga material is a long time.

Seen the spring issue with chapters 48 and 49, but yet to find the summer issue with 50 and 51.

I am curious as to why some manga-ka would wait that long to continue a manga title. The "Beet" part of the name is fitting as it has topped HxH for hiatus lengths.

Did Viz publish volume 12? I have not been able to find it.
I read the first 11 volumes because my library has them and I enjoyed them.

I would like to finish the series someday but it remains to be seen what, if anything, Viz will do with it.

Pretty sure Kazushi Hagiwara(Bastard Manga) still has him beat. The true king of hiatus.

Yes they did. That's as far as they got before the hiatus happened.

Season 1 was good but season 2 was so-so for some reason (it's like they ran out of ideas?)

I picked up the manga right after season 2-- that's when i understand why the season 2 was like that..

I doubt it was by choice; apparently the artist got seriously sick, and had to be hospitalized for years, and since the artist and author are supposedly best buds, I don't think the author wanted to continue with a new artist.

Anyway, Beet is one of the most underrated Jump series of all time, with amazing art, interesting settings, and some really cool villains. I hope someone begins scanning the new chapters.

malvarez1, thanks for the explanation. It's been nearly 10 years since Funi released some of the BtVB episodes.
