Maybe this was addressed in a previous topic about this game, but why is it titled Berserk AND the Band of the Hawk, as if there's a character named "Berserk"? It doesn't make much sense to me. Had it been "Berserk: The Band of the Hawk", or perhaps "Berserk: Guts and The Band of the Hawk", it would've made more sense, but still probably not an appropriate title for the game.

It sounds like a case of Cowboy Bebop at His Computer. Except in this case, it's Koei Tecmo's US branch not understanding their parent's own licensed IPs. I guess they figured since One Piece's lead is a character named "One Piece," and Fist of the North Star has a character named "Fist," Berserk must be about a guy named "Berserk."
... Glad to see Serpico is a Lu Xun clone, though. That'll be fun, even if the localization turns out to be as much of a train wreck as the title would suggest. |

Serpico's theme is cool, and yeah as posters have brought up above the title is really bad. Just stick with "Berserk Musou" and call it a day.

Not that they'll care or change anything, but I contacted Koei Tecmo and brought this to their attention. Maybe we should get a petition going to rename it lol

I think Guts would want us to do whatever was in our power, rather than pray for them to realize it on their own and change it for us. I'd totally sign a petition.
