Wait, if Aniplex USA announced it in Yaoi Con, is that mean the movie has a surprise BL couple or something?

Well that sounds like every anime high school romance ever... So, more or less, the entire film is centered on the trope of a character chickening out on a love confession. Great.

The most surprising news to me is that a yaoi con has happened in America. Not from there so I might be the only one surprised.

I'm happy that Crunchyroll is getting movies to stream since that's pretty rare. Why was this announced at Yaoicon though? It sounds like a standard straight shoujo love triangle.

That's cool. We are slowly seeing more movies/OVAs/specials being made available on legit streaming services. A trend that I hope intensifies.

Through passing interest, may I ask if it is the case that motion pictures on Crunchyroll are exclusive to premium members, or can anyone see them within the permitted regions?

I assume anybody would have access in non region locked areas, it's just like with other fare, free users may have to wait longer to access it and, of course, put up with ads.

Pretty much everything gets unlocked to free members (with commercials) after a set period of time. Sometimes things get locked back up to premium members but there should always be a time where it's available free. Crunchyroll hasn't announced it on their site yet so I don't know what it will be in this case.

Tofu92600, this con has been going on years. This title announcement, though, seems a bit contrary to the con's name.
