*reads title and looks at post/movie date*
Did you write this article a few days ago?
Well, it is nice that Digimon is back in theaters and that a good number of the cast returned. I won't be watching it in English unless someone makes a Japanese vs English comparison video, but I'm happy for you guys.

Well, 2 days is less than a week, so they're not wrong

I'm hoping that the one night screening is a huge success so that way they can add more showings at a later date since sadly I won't be able to attend this one.

Going to see this tonight.... can't wait. The main reason is because Joshua Seth is reprising his role after all this time away from voice acting.
I'm told that very few advance tickets were sold. Fingers crossed that most people are like me and want to buy them on the day of the showing due to possible work constraints.

But the first seven movies were dubbed over a decade ago.

Excited to see this tonight! While one of my favorite voices from the original dub is sadly not returning, I was super excited to hear Joshua Seth was coming back to voice Tai. I admit if he had been missing as well, I likely would have passed. But I'll be going with the same friend that went with me to see Digimon the Movie back in 2000, so it should be quite the nostalgia trip, haha.
Really enjoyed this movie with subtitles, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it dubbed just as much if, even with the new cast members, it manages to feel like the old show!

I'm thrilled to see this tonight. I was going to see it at another theater in LA, but when I found out about the Q&A, I changed my ticket to the Chinese Theater showing. Anyone know if the Q&A will take place in the theater right after the screening?
Also, have there been any announcements about a dub Blu-ray release?

The 3/2009 YT video "Akira to Digimon - Behind The Scenes With Voice Over Actor Joshua Seth" said that Josh got burned out from doing voice acting gigs daily. Also, the pay is bad. However, it's for nostalgia and fans that he wanted to return as Tai and did.
