VR or not, I'm just ecstatic that Ulala is finally coming back into the spotlight after being absent for so many years!

Glad that this oldie but a goodie is getting some new life. But I'd rather see a whole new game. As some folks want to see the companies breathe new life into those old classics.

Yes...I, too, prefer a new console title over Virtual Reality. Perhaps there will be one if fans are vocal enough...

It's still pretty neat that SEGA still remembers the Space Channel 5 franchise.
Then again, we did have two stages in Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure (released in 2012, I believe) that were homages to the Space Channel 5 games in every way possible, from the gameplay to the music to the weird jerky animation.

Well, according to some in the gaming community have expressed their interests. But the companies don't do it. Only to find themselves asking gamers almost 5-10 yrs later if they'd be interested. And it always seems this happens when it seems like they're losing money and the faith of gamers who have supported them for years, that they'll consider.
Meanwhile, there hasn't been any Castlevania hybrid, or a Darkstalkers game (since SFV came out and Capcom has screwed that up---and I'm not talking about the obvious stuff. Which is why I won't purchase it for our collection), etc... Hell, we could use a new Jet Set Radio too. Hell bring back the old one and fix it up. Hell...
